Camosun College clinic Dates Extended!

We’re very excited to announce that our Camosun College location remains open for an extended season thanks to funding from the Camosun College Students’ Society! We’re on the top floor of Richmond House on the Lansdowne Campus.

Our hours for May are:

Thursday May 7th 11-2:30

Thursday May 14th 11-2:30

Thursday May 21st 11-2:30

Thursday May 28th 11-2:30

Remember we have nursing services available which include STI testing and treatment, birth control prescriptions, Pap and pelvic exams, pregnancy testing and decision making and free safer sex supplies. All are welcome to use the clinic!

Jennifer Gibson MA, is the Coordinator of Community Education Services. She is a professional sexual health educator whose knowledge, sense of humour, enthusiasm, and comfort level give her the unique ability to make sexual health education accessible and easy to relate to.

Cervarix vaccines available *free* for females born 1991-1993

We have just received our shipment of free Cervarix vaccines. We are participating in BC’s program that provides the Cervarix vaccine against HPV for females born 1991-1993 at no cost. Cervarix vaccine prevents nearly 100% of HPV infections dure to types 16 and 18 that cause 7/10 cases of cervical cancer.
