Changes to Our Prescription Pick Up Process
Effective immediately, each time a current client visits any of our clinics to purchase/pick up birth control (prescribed by us as we do not accept outside prescriptions) will be asked to complete a contraception pickup assessment form which will be reviewed by a nurse.
Additionally, your medication will be dispensed directly to you by a clinic nurse, who will be available to answer any questions or concerns you have about your medication.
If you are having a friend, partner or family member pick up your medication, we request that you be available to complete a quick phone assessment with the nurse at the time of pick up – because this can be difficult to coordinate, we strongly encourage clients to pick up their own birth control whenever possible. If you would like to fill out the assessment ahead of time, you are welcome to print it off and bring it along for pick up to expedite the process. As a result of this new process, you may need to wait 15-20 minutes to pick up your medication; this should be no longer than the wait you would experience if you were to purchase your medication from a pharmacy.
We acknowledge that this change will be inconvenient for some clients, and we are grateful for your patience as we navigate this transition. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
