Support Collaboration for Two-Spirit, Trans and Non-Binary Community Folks with Trans Care BC

We are thrilled to announce that Lux from Trans Care BC is offering peer based support at our Quadra St. clinic several times a month to support two-spirit, trans and non-binary community folks. Many thanks to Lux and Trans Care BC for this amazing offering.

Lux can offer:

  • peer based support
  • ideas for connecting with community
  • information about hormone assessment and affirmation surgery access
  • help with name and gender-mark change process

Services are offered to all community members not just clients of ISH or age specific folks (ie youth). Appointments will be held at our Quadra Street clinic and can be set up by emailing Lux directly.

Jennifer Gibson MA, is the Coordinator of Community Education Services. She is a professional sexual health educator whose knowledge, sense of humour, enthusiasm, and comfort level give her the unique ability to make sexual health education accessible and easy to relate to.
