isavy about iapps on ovulation and menstruation

We have recently been told of apps available for iphone/ipad that helps women to track their ovulatory/menstruation patterns. Don’t get us wrong, we are all for being more aware of your cycles because we know that correct knowledge=power!
However, what these apps don’t seem to take into account is that not all women’s cycles are 28 days in length with ovulation occuring 14 days before that and many things can effect ovulation including stress, diet, and exercise just to name a few.

While using an app for an awareness tool may be fine, do *NOT* rely on an electronic app to predict ovualtion as a birth control or conception tool! For more information on other awareness tools that are not electronic, call 250-592-3479!
