We’re looking for youth for our youth committee!

Did you know that we have a small but mighty youth committee that provides feedback and direction to the organization on how to be as engaging to and supportive of youth as possible? We absolutely do and we’re looking for more youth to join us.

We are looking for youth between 15-20 years of age who want:

  • to have their voices heard around sexual health issues
  • to use their creativity and energy towards meaningful projects
  • to meet monthly to discuss projects, issues, and ideas
  • to engage change

This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in a community based non-profit health organization who is dedicated to creating positive and inclusive sexual health knowledge and services. Please email our super friendly youth committee coordinator Caitlyn  or call her  250-592-2479  x205 for more information.

YLEAD is a training and skills development program for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth from January-May 2026. In the program, 15-20 youth (grades 10-12/ages 15-18) from the Greater “Victoria” area will gather as a group and identify four topics that could help schools and community agencies become places that 2SLGBTQIA+ actually want to be in. This will be based on your own opinions and priorities; what you think can help create safer and more celebratory spaces for 2SLGBTQIA+ students like yourself to learn and thrive.
