Education for Parents/caregivers of Tweens and Teens – Westshore and Saanich Peninsula

Due to popular demand, our community educator, Jennifer, is offering a workshop session for parents and caregivers of tween and teens called  “Beyond THE Talk.”

‘Beyond THE Talk’  is a single workshop session designed to provide parents, adults, and youth workers with the most relevant and factual information necessary to communicate effectively with tweens and teens in their lives about sexuality and sexual health issues. Participants will leave with the session more supported, comfortable, and knowledgeable about a topic that challenges many of us. Please register through the community centre links below

Saanich Peninsula – Wednesday, November 7th from 7-9pm.  Boardroom Panorama Recreation Centre 

Westshore –  Thursday November 15, 2012 from 7-9pm Seniors Activity Room 201 (Small) – Juan De Fuca Seniors Centre

Jennifer Gibson MA, is the Coordinator of Community Education Services. She is a professional sexual health educator whose knowledge, sense of humour, enthusiasm, and comfort level give her the unique ability to make sexual health education accessible and easy to relate to.
