Our fantastic new crowdsourcing video, “A Royal Visit…”
An expansion of space and services requires the need for additional equipment and resources which is financially demanding for a non-profit. In order to raise funds to support the organization’s expansion, ISH developed an online fundraising campaign video, “A Royal Visit to Island Sexual Health” using kapipal. The goal for the online campaign is $15,000 and will be live until December 31st. Funds raised will be used to purchase 3 new exam tables and other needed equipment. Given Victoria’s fondness for royalty, the campaign enlisted the help of a royal personality and some humour to appeal to the community for support. Island Sexual Health understands that effective sexual health care and education should be accessible, comfortable, and non-threatening which is why the organization decided to take a light hearted approach to the fundraising video.
