Phone line changes
Effective Immediately, we have made changes to our phone line hours due to reduced staffing levels. Please read the information below.
Sexual health patients
Sexual health phones lines (for booking/cancelling appointments and general inquiries) are now only open 9-11:30am Mon-Fri**. If you are 18 years and under, you can book an appointment or ask a question by texting our confidential youth texting line 250-812-9374 and we will help set it up for you.
We have added an additional line for sexual health patients who are returning a call from our office. Please follow the prompts on our phone directory. This line will be answered 9-11:30am and 1:30-3pm Mon-Fri.
**We acknowledge that the changes to our sexual health phoneline hours are very limiting and have a significant impact on the well-being of our community. Please know that as an organization, we are doing our utmost to minimize this impact on our clients. These changes in phoneline access are the result of long-standing funding shortfalls in sexual and reproductive health care. In attempt to manage these shortfalls, we have had to make the difficult decision to reduce our staffing levels. We remain hopeful that this reduction in access is temporary, and we are actively working to stabilize our funding so that we can restore staffing levels and services to the full capacity the community deserves.”
Primary care patients
Primary care phone lines are open 9-11:30am and 1:30-3pm Mon-Fri. Primary care patients are patients who are attached to receive generalized care at our clinic.
All phone lines are off for lunch between 11:30am-1:30pm.
